Paste Tense is made by one independent developer. You buy it once on the Mac App Store, it collects nothing, and everything it records stays on your Mac and in the folders you choose. Most pages below start with a short version in plain English; the full text underneath is what counts.

Paste Tense is made and sold by its developer, an individual, not a company ("we", "us"). Write to support@pastetense.app about anything on these pages. For help with the app, see Support.
How these pages fit together
- The app is covered by the Licence Agreement: Apple's standard licence, with our short supplemental terms.
- The website and the decryptor's website are covered by the Website Terms of Use.
- Information — what is kept, where, and by whom — is explained in the Privacy Policy and the Cookies page.
- Our Promise is an extra commitment from us. It adds to your rights and never takes anything away from them.
Nothing on these pages takes away rights the law where you live gives you as a consumer.
Changes and earlier versions
When a page changes, we publish the new version at the same address with a new effective date. If you would like a copy of an earlier version, write to support@pastetense.app.
