Refunds

Effective · Purchases of Paste Tense on the Mac App Store

The short version

Apple sells Paste Tense on our behalf and handles every payment, so refunds are requested from Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We never see your payment details and cannot issue refunds ourselves — but if something isn't working, write to us first: we may be able to fix it.

How to ask Apple for a refund

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account you used to buy Paste Tense.
  2. Choose that you would like to request a refund, and pick a reason.
  3. Select Paste Tense and submit the request.

Apple's wording and steps may change over time; if they differ from these, follow Apple's.

Who decides

Apple decides refund requests under its own policies, and tells you the outcome. Depending on where you live, consumer law may also give you a right to cancel a purchase; Apple handles that too. We have no say in a decision and cannot see or change your purchase.

How Paste Tense support can help

  • If something isn't working, write to support@pastetense.app. Many problems — nothing being recorded, a locked history, a folder that moved — have a quick answer, and the Support page covers the most common ones.
  • If a feature doesn't do what this site says, tell us: we will correct the site or fix the app.
  • You never need to send us a receipt, payment details, clipboard contents, passwords, recovery keys or history files.

A refund does not affect your files: your history stays in your folders, and stays readable as described in Our Promise.
